Happy Monday Sept 9th!

Reminders:

-Please sign and return all forms sent home in the start of the year packet by Tomorrow! (All forms need signatures on each of the pages)

-Please make sure you send your student with a water bottle to limit trips to the fountain

-Please make sure a pair of outdoor/indoor shoes has been sent to school to keep our building clean

-A digital citizenship form was sent home Thursday to allow our students the use of laptops and ipads this school year. Please return these ASAP!

-Pizza forms brought back ASAP

-Welcome back! by parent council at 7:30 am in the gym tomorrow

VERY IMPORTANT: Please do not allow your children to bring toys to school. They are a giant distraction and usually end up on my desk. Toys have gone missing in the past and we want to do everything possible to avoid tears throughout the day. Thank you.

This week in room 5:

Math:
We will be exploring our numbers from 1-100 skip counting by 1's, 2's 5's and 10's.
We will be reviewing and creating patterns using color, pictures and numbers.
We will also be doing numbers of the day to practice expanding and writing numbers.

LA:
Students will be reading to self and others
We will be practicing creating sentences and writing specific words.
We will be checking books out from the library

Social:
Students will begin to explore maps and how to look at them

Science:
We will begin to explore liquids and what they are/are not

Art:
Self Portraits!

Health:
Exploring our new Pillar of Care: belonging!
